One boring afternoon in 2019 I stumbled upon a podcast on SoundCloud called Bitchface and was struck by this thoughtful, curious, sonic collage. The episode "Whose Imagination Are You Living In?", the query itself and the worlds I imagined while listening to this episode, took me on a deep dive into examining my life and my relationships with people and my values. The question tied a bunch of thoughts I was already having about the imperialist capitalist abrahamic cishetero patriarchal society I live in and the radical Black imagination together.

The print is made with watercolor 300gsm paper, ink and acrylic paint.
